The Villa

Villa Med is a new, air-conditioned, detached villa situated on a prestigious domaine overlooking the Vaugrenier National Park and the Mediterranean. It is set in an extensive lawned garden on two levels with its own heated jacuzzi and outside summer kitchen. Guests at the villa also have use of the 25 metre domaine pool, sun terraces and boules court. The domaine pool is rarely busy even in high season. The accommodation at Villa Med sleeps 6-8 in comfort in three bedrooms. The elegant sitting and dining room leads out onto the terrace through three French windows. The panoramic view of the Mediterranean from here has been described as ‘The best view in Europe’. The house is stylishly furnished throughout and is decorated with original oil paintings. The dining area seats 8 in comfort. Satellite TV, DVD player, CD/cassette player and high-speed internet access are all provided. For your comfort, there is full air-conditioning and cooling fans, and for cooler weather there is central heating. The spacious main bedroom is 7 metres in length and has a kingsize double bed and a comfortable single sofa-bed. The second large bedroom has two twin beds which can be used as a large double bed. Both these bedrooms have beautiful sea views and can easily accommodate a further single bed or a cot. Two additional single beds and a cot are available on request. The third bedroom has a double bed with views of the garden and sea. There are two bathrooms and three WCs. The designer kitchen has all appliances - washing machine, clothes dryer, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer. Outside, the summer kitchen has a gas barbecue, a fridge for cool drinks and a large dining area. The garden has several areas for relaxing and sunbathing, including a large lawn on the lower terrace and a heated jacuzzi, all with stunning sea views. There is plenty of parking space.

Near the glamorous Mediterranean resorts of Nice, Monte Carlo and Antibes, and the charming villages of Provence. Elegantly furnished and air conditioned, Villa Med has panoramic views of the Mediterranean across Vaugrenier Park. A pleasant stroll through the park takes you to the beaches. The villa is set in a secure and prestigious private domaine. Guests at Villa Med have use of the 25m domaine pool, sun terraces and boules court. In the pretty landscaped garden, enjoy relaxing in the heated jacuzzi. The outside summer kitchen has a barbecue, fridge and a large refectory table. Dine al fresco in the garden or at one of the many restaurants in nearby Antibes or in the local villages of Biot or Villeneuve-Loubet, birthplace of the great chef, Escoffier. The best holiday attractions of the French Riviera are on your doorstep. Along the coast, Nice, Monte Carlo and Cannes offer sightseeing, restaurants, shopping, casinos, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Cannes Film Festival. Inland, the villages of Provence offer fascinating markets, medieval streets, art galleries and museums. 10 minutes from Nice International Airport and 15 minutes from Cannes. An ideal location for a French Riviera vacation.

Local Attractions

Med View Villa is ideally situated for attractions along the coast and inland, from beautiful beaches to a range of interesting provencal villages. The local village of Biot is typical : known for the crafts of glass-blowing and pottery, it retains its charm with regular festivals and markets held in the village square. Visit the celebrity village of St Paul de Vence with 16th century ramparts and one of Europe's finest museums of modern art, the Foundation Maeght. The famous Cannes Film Festival and the Grand Prix at Monaco are within easy reach. Join the early evening promenade along the Croisette at Cannes or relax at one of the pavement cafes to watch the world go by. Visit the Casino at Monte Carlo. Fourteen of the Riviera's best golf courses are within a 20 minute drive and the French Alps ski resorts are 60 minutes. You can comfortably ski at Isola in the morning and be back for lunch at Juan-les-Pins and an afternoon's round of golf.  See our attractions page for more.

 Electricity (high usage only) is charged by meter reading. Normal usage of electricity does not incur this extra charge.

For two-week rentals, a mid-holiday cleaning and linen change is included in the price. Additional cleaning can be arranged at extra cost.

Linen and towels included (beach towels are not provided). Cots and high chairs available on request.

Garden and pool maintenance included.

Maid service, excursions, airport and train transfers can be arranged, contact us for details and prices.

A non-returnable deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking.

The balance is due 8 weeks before departure.

An additional security deposit is required in case of damage or extra cleaning, returnable within 2 weeks of your departure
